As a Boston Portrait and Headshot photographer, I get asked to take photos of everything from Corporate to Tinder dating profile pictures. I have been contacted by lawyers for headshots for brochures, women looking for their Facebook profile pictures, and guys looking to join dating sites with great headshots. An iPhone photo will not do! I travel to the location the person wants the photo. I have also been known to suggest photos be taken in fields, close to the office, brick walls of the building they work in, and homes of top executives.
Is it weird to hire a professional photographer for a dating profile photo for a website?
This is my most asked question, and the answer is NO! A large part of my business is helping people take great photos of themselves for dating profile websites. No need to be embarrassed! It is really hard to meet people as you get older and dating profile sites are the match makers of today!
