My name is Alicia Williams and I am the creative mind behind Cordele Photography. I have specialized in portrait photography including senior portraits, proposals & engagements, headshots, families, micro wedding photography, and cake smashes for over 20 years. Recently I have added Branding Photography and Evidence Photography to my photography offerings.

Massachusetts

I have lived in Reading, Massachusetts for over 48 years and I have photographed in historical venues like the Codman Estate, Lyman Estate, and Endicott Estate, all old houses with great history and character.

Wedding Photography

The opportunity to photograph a wedding is something I cherish. It's not an easy task and not just anyone can do it. I watch two people join their lives in one of the oldest rituals, marriage. Over the past 20 years, I have photographed over 260 weddings across Massachusetts. Micro weddings became a trend during the pandemic. I shot the smallest wedding to date with only three people; the couple and the officiant. With bigger weddings, I love listening to the unique vows that people write to each other, seeing the little touches that make the day their own, and meeting people. I have met the most fascinating people photographing weddings. From the decorated Marine to the 97-year-old who has been married for 65 years. My favorite question to ask? "What's the secret to a long happy marriage?" I'll tell you the answer - compromise followed by never staying mad or holding a grudge. While I no longer shoot the big weddings with the 45 person bridal party, I am happiest taking photos of two people in love under a tree with their closest friends and family.

New England + Cape Cod

Photography has allowed me to travel all over New England, where it's an hour to the ocean or two hours to the mountains. I have seen weddings at the Round Barn Inn in Stow Vermont, to venues in New Hampshire, and York, Maine.

Although I'm located in Reading Massachusetts, I serve all of New England. I particularly love Cape Cod, Block Island, and Nantucket.

Some of my favorite hotels are the Ocean Cliff in Newport and Wychmere Harbor in Harwichport. Having summered in Yarmouth MA on Cape Cod and traveling to Surf Side Beach, Martha's Vineyard, and Portland in Maine, I know how fun bringing your guests to those locations is. The laid-back island atmosphere brings out the best in wedding photos!

I excel in my craft by skillfully capturing clients in moments of joy and love, coaxing them out of their shells. A recurring client compliment is, "I didn't even realize you were there when this happened!" That is a testament to my extensive years of experience in the field.

Top Boston Wedding Venues

My favorite small parties have been at the Codman Estate in Lincoln and the Colonnade Hotel In Boston. I have also taken images at the Seaport Hotel, Boston Harbor Hotel, The State Room, The Taj (now The Newbury Hotel), and Hotel Marlow (now Kimpton Marlowe). One of my most published collections is from The Atlantic Inn on Block Island.

Senior Portraits

I have a knack for finding unique locations for Senior Portraits. From the fence behind a shopping plaza to a hidden nook outside the beach, locations make the session. One of my favorite spots to take people is behind CVS in a local parking lot, crazy right? I get some pretty crazy looks but the photos are always amazing. I also shoot senior portraits in and around Reading, Melrose, Stoneham Andover, Woburn, Wilmington, North Reading, Tewksbury, and Wakefield. Some high school yearbooks don't allow photos from outside photographers, but most do - but size them correctly.

Portrait Photography

I have had a thriving business for over 20 years in portrait photography around the entire Tri-State and New England area. I have traveled for many family photos during the summer and always get amazing Cape Cod beach scene family photos.

I love to take children's portraits and travel on-location to shoot newborns and children, as well as family and beach portraits. One of my favorite places for family portraits is on Mayflower Beach in Dennis. I have also found that Wingersheek Beach in Gloucester is a hidden gem of New England for generational images of your family.

Corporate Headshot

Capturing a relaxed and natural headshot is a key element that attracts people to my work. Say goodbye to stuffy photos! I offer on-location backdrop setups or shoot directly at your office—whether at your desk or outdoors. I've even been commissioned for dating headshots, from group photos for small businesses to updating your LinkedIn profile with a professional headshot. I bring the studio experience right to you!

Cake Smash

Celebrate your child's first birthday with one of the most beloved photo sessions for 1-year-olds! Bring a cake and capture a milestone photo of your little one. I thoroughly enjoy these relaxed sessions, making achieving a wonderful photograph on their special day easy. I custom design nearly every set to suit your child's preferences. No request is too challenging. Love Harry Potter? I can create a wizard world! Obsessed with unicorns? Plenty of rainbows and clouds and eco-friendly glitter await! My Style

I consider my style a mix of photo-journalistic, traditional, and candid for weddings. While I don’t show those images here, I am happy to share images privately.

What else will I photograph? I will take pictures of infants, teens, and maternity photographs of toddlers through High School Seniors.

I've been invited to Kimpton Marlowe Hotel, Gibbet Hill in Groton, and The Andover Country Club. I have also shot at the Villa Woodbine (in Coconut Grove). I have dreams of being invited to the Belle Mer in Rhode Island, the State Room in Boston, and Longwood Event facilities.

I have been featured in many magazines including WellWed, The Knot, Destination, and Honeymoon Magazine. I am featured on many blogs. Now booking for the 2025-2026 season!
