Mohegan Bluffs is one of the most picturesque places to propose on Block Island. Asking your significant other to marry you needs a memorable spot! This spot fits the bill.
The bluffs are two hundred feet high, and getting down to the beach will surely give you a memory of a lifetime. While there ARE stairs down, they stop at a spot that is hit with wind and water, and you have to traverse down a rocky, sandy, steep incline, but it's worth it!
This climb is not for the faint of heart, and you need good walking shoes to get down, no sandals or flipflops. Once you are down, it's worth the climb. The climb back up isn't as bad, but take it slow.
