Best Generational Photos Boston

When you gather all the generations for a family reunion, be sure to organize a generational photoshoot to capture the family together. In years to come as people age, and the family dynamic changes you will want to be able to save this photo and share it with generations to come. Sure, the family will always grow and change but having a portrait that can be passed down from generation to generation will be something the great-grandkids will love to have!

For coordinating outfits, be sure to pick the outfit based on a couple of things: where the photo will hang (look at the wall colors in the room and the furniture). You don't want to wear fluorescent orange and put it in a room that has a gray/brown color tone. You also want to think about who is the main subject in the photo. Is it Grandma? Grandpa? Put the main focus or the patriarch of the family in the main color and then have everyone else find a color tone that matches that same family (earth tones or pastels) to what they are wearing.

If giving a generational photo as a gift, it's always important to talk about the budget for the shoot. Generational photos start at $690 and come with a $500 print credit, making the session fee $190. All prints and products will be in addition. When working with families, I always like to tell them to set a budget that everyone is comfortable with. Then when the family comes in for the viewing, there will be no concern about what the cost will be.
