North End engagement photographers-1

The North End has so many unique spots for engagement photographers, that sometimes you overlook the simple photos. While this is not on a cobble stone street, or in an alley I spotted this photo while standing on Commercial Street.

A couple stands on the corner of the a street in the north end with a brick wall behind them and a street light next to them. Ellen and Justin are part of a family that I have been photographing for years. Her sister Laurie had been maried back in 2005 and Ellen contacted me to photographer her engagement photos and wedding. I was so excited to have been loved enough by the family to shoot again. What an honor!! I had also shot their cousins wedding and their cousins friend. In total now, I have shot 8 of the families weddings! I think that might be a record! When Ellen contacted me she wasn't sure where she wanted to have her photos done. I normally will default to the North End for photos because I know it so well. I had Ellen and Justin cross Commercial street and I stood on the other side with my long lens on. I had to scream across the street "KISS!". I looked a little crazy to the droves of tourists walking by. No one knew exactly who I was talking too. I love this photo because of the brick wall and the light post.

This is one of the original gas lights in the Boston area

Location: Boston, Massachusetts.
