Very rarely do I get invited to a wedding that I’m not shooting. This year, I’ve been invited to four, AS a guest! One of the things I love about being invited, is waiting for the wedding invitation to arrive. The invitation for my good friend Chris was one worth the wait. I remember his fiancé said something on facebook about “hours on hours putting these invitations together”. I thought to myself, “hours? for invitations? stuff, lick, stamp, address, repeat.. She is only having 100 or so people. How is this taking her hours??”
When the invitation arrived, in it’s vintage envelope, with the vintage stamps, and the custom calligraphy… I understood.
This is one of the most unique invitations to a wedding I’ve ever seen. It was so amazing, I even put it up on Pinterest, and I wanted to share it with my brides-to-be. These are CLOTH invites, and can be repurposed for a variety of things. Feel free to PIN this!
