First, I haven’t posted lately just because I’ve been trying to get albums done. Just a quick FYI. I am about to say that C word. Christmas. Christmas isn’t that far off (gulp.) That means if you want your album or to buy an album for the holidays I will need your album selections in by OCTOBER 1. Here is our official policy on Holiday orders. I’m giving you all PLENTY of time to think about this.
Here’s the breakdown:
Christmas Album Delivery of Favorites by October 1 – Free.
Favorites after October 1st -14th add a $100.00 surcharge
Favorites after October 15th – 29th add a $250.00 surcharge, and some Dunkin Donut gift cards (I’ll be pulling some late nights to get the designs done I’ll need the caffeine)
Favorites delivered to me ON/AFTER October 30th we will not even look at until after the New Year.
Holiday rush is a horrible time for us. If you are cutting it close, we are probably cutting it closer. Please try to think ahead and get your orders in before Thanksgiving. All Print Rush Orders between December 15-20 will be hit with a $50.00 surcharge. One year we spent Christmas Eve delivering prints and it made for a really stressful holiday, If you do place an order after December 15th IT CAN NOT BE MAILED. There is NO mailing. “Can you Fed Ex it?” No. No begging, pleading, or threatening. The Answer is, NO. We had lost packages and missing holiday gifts last year, and I do not want to ruin someone’s holiday by you not having a gift. If you order late, have a friend stop by the studio and grab it. POINT: We love you guys, but please get your orders in by December 1.
ON TO THE PORTRAITS FROM LAST WEEK:
The last week or so I’ve had a couple of children portrait shoots. First was my friend Sara & John. They just had a new little one and he’s just so cute. He’s 5 months old and so happy!

Then I shot Laurie’s kids. Laurie is my sisters best friend. They’ve been friends for as long as I remember. How beautiful are these kids! Her son has the most amazing eyes and her daughters got an infectious little personality. All smiles!
By the way, I’ll post this in public. I broke down and bought the New Kids on the Block Album (I know I know..). I grew up listening to them, I felt like I had to stay loyal. I have to say, I like it. It’s not cheesy bubble gum music (I was expecting that). There’s some great music that makes me dance in my chair as I design albums. I’d say “it’s worth a listen” and I don’t think your money will be totally wasted.
I’m 31 years old, and I like New Kids On the Block. OMG. 🙂
