Great Brook Farm for Senior Portrait Photography

For Jake’s chelmsford high senior photo we went up to Great Brook Farm in Carlisle, right over the Chelmsford border. There were a lot of location to pick from, but Great Brook seemed to make the most sense. It was close by and convenient.

Great Brook has a ton to offer, and the light is always just amazing. Most of all what makes a great session, is when the senior does whatever is asked of them! And trusting you photographer, and getting along with your photographer, is key! Since this senior was so excited to work with a different photographer, It was then reflected in the photos . He didn’t want the same look that all his friends had.

Seems like I love people that want something a little different, because that’s how I roll.

Jake showed up with two identical shirts which is great because I was able to say, ‘That one is wrinkled, lets go with this one!” and that way it saves a lot of photoshopping after!

It can be tough selecting the right clothes for your session. First you want something basic, and then you want to look neat. Looking like you rolled out of bed for your senior photographs is not the look you want! Your Sunday best, look like you are going somewhere important. First ask your mom, does this look okay, and then wear it 🙂
