I love it when I have a bride that’s a referral from another bride. This bride was a referral from 5 other brides. There is this group of girls who I adore, and have referred me over the years, to friends, coworkers, sisters and cousins. At one point during the wedding a guest came up to me and said “Didn’t you shoot Lisa’s Wedding?” I said “Yes, and Nicole’s and Ellen’s and Laurie’s…” It’s the best compliment in the world, and I just love these girls so much! They are all just the nicest group. Here they are! Not the best photo ever, but it was just a quick grab while we all caught up.

Now on to Lisa and Arman’s photos! Lisa did something unique with the shoes. She bedazzled them blue. That way she was covered with the something new, and something blue
I emailed Lisa and asked her what her favorite part of her ceremony and reception was, She said “My favorite parts of the ceremony were when my dad walked me down the isle, seeing Jack, my nephew, waving to us while we were standing up there, and of course, being introduced as Mr. and Mrs.”
Lisa has also had guests continue to rave about how much fun the reception was. They did have a great DJ that had the dance floor going most of the night.
One cool thing they did during the ceremony, I’d never seen before. I’ve been to over 200 weddings, and you’d think I’d see it all. This year I’ve seen some interesting elements added to the ceremoney. Lisa and Arman had a Love Letter and Wine Ceremony. I asked her to explain what it was. She said “What you do is buy a box that locks and fill it with a bottle of wine or liquor (whichever you prefer). The couple writes 1 love letter to each other. On their 5th wedding anniversary the couple reads the letters while drinking the wine or liquor. If the couple ends up in a fight they are to refer back to the letters. This is to remind them why they love each other! We couldn’t find a box that locked, so we bought a box with a magnetic cover and filled it with 2 bottles of wine. We wanted to make it fun, so instead of writing 1 love letter we wrote 3 notes to each other. The notes said things like remember when… or I love how…”

My favorite question to ask is about the honeymoon. I don’t get to travel much anymore with the two kids, so I live through my clients and their AMAZING vacations.
Lisa and Arman spent two weeks in Spain for our honeymoon. They left the day after Columbus Day and came back a week before Halloween. She said “It was awesome! I would highly recommend it!”
They rented a car while we were there. Started and ended in Barcelona. While in Barcelona they drove to some border towns in France. Then drove to Valencia, Granada, and Seville. While in Seville they went to Gibraltar. From Seville they flew back to Barcelona and spent the last 3 days there. Lisa said “Barcelona is great for people watching! Granada is beautiful. What you see in pictures is exactly how it looks and Seville has the best Flamenco shows.”
