Favorite Locations we have worked

Below is a list with a link to places I have worked over the last 17 years. A lot of these places have been worked at multiple times. If your location is not listed, it doesn't mean I can't shoot there, it just means we haven't been commissioned to do so.

Andover Country Club

(60 Canterbury Street Andover, Massachusetts 01810 (978)475-1263) is a golf and country club that has been around for 90 years. The clubhouse is a spacious 54,000 sq feet and holds up to 600 guests. The ballroom has floor-to-ceiling windows, and beautiful grounds to host your wedding. The country club is located 20 miles from Andover MA and is on an 18-course golf course. It sits on the former site of the old Chandler Farm which was open in 1925 which was off Lowell Street and River Road and Lincoln Street in Andover. The former owner of the land was William Wood and he was also the owner of the American Woolen Co. located in Lawrence, MA. It was the largest mill in the world and it employees 30,000 employees. The company created manufacturer and distribution of men's and women's worsted and woolen fabrics. Mr. Wood owned up to 60 wool mills in the country.

The owner of what is now Andover Country Club is Yvon Cormier. Mr. Cormier is known throughout Andover Massachusetts for his philanthropy and his buildings. He is known for the charities he helps raise money for such as the Jimmy Fund, Mass General Hospital, Lazarus House, and the Andover Youth Center, Also know as the Cormier Youth Center. It was developed after a few young people in Andover lost their lives to suicide, and the town knew something needed to be done. They raised funds and built what is today the Andover Youth Center. It has been designed to help engage the young people of Andover. It has been around for 20 years now and is well known in the community. Its located at 40 Whittier Court Andover MA

Mr. Cormier expanded the Andover Country Club to include hotel rooms, a dining room, and a ballroom for events such as weddings and corporate meetings, and charity galas. Most recently the club has opened a tennis and basketball court, a sprinkler park for the kids as well as a pool. If that’s not enough there is even a playground for the kids.

It's the perfect venue to have family fly in and host a rehearsal dinner and wedding and day after breakfast!

Atlantic Inn; Block Island

(359 High St, New Shoreham, RI 02807) - The Inn is set up on a hill overlooking the island below. It's one of the best views on the island to host your wedding. The laid-back atmosphere is perfect for those searching for the destination wedding island feel! The porch has wicker chairs, and if you choose to host your even in the house or outside, there is a tent for you to be protected from the elements, should you need it! The Inn has full-service wedding planning with connections to Florist (such as La Bella Rose Flowers, Painted Rock Flowers) The venue has a vibe that is not found on the Islands.

The Inn has 21 rooms which are perfect for smaller weddings and the need for lodging. The Ferry can at times be tricky to get to and from the island. If it's too windy or bad weather, they shut the ferries down. This can be problematic if a vendor didn't anticipate that issues and leave a day or two before your event. Traveling the day OF the event is NOT recommended.

To get to Block Island, you need to take a ferry (or fly). The ferries leave from Pt. Judith in Rhode Island, Newport, Rhode Island, and Fall River Massachusetts. If you are coming from Long Island, you need to take Long Island and Block Island connect via Cross Sound Ferry from Orient Point and transfer to the Block Island Express in New London.

Should I take a car to Block Island?

It all depends on where you are going or staying. I have taken my car over so I can get to other parts of the island easier. Just know, if you are staying at one of the hotels right off the ferry, parking is hard to find. Some of the outskirt hotels and inns you can park at with no issue. Just know, there are plenty of cabs, and bikes and scooters to zip around this island.

How big is Block Island?

Block Island, is about 109 sq miles around, 6 miles long, and 3.5 miles wide. Its not a big island and you can probably explore the entire thing in a long weekend and leave having seen it all.

Indian Pond Country Club

Codman Estate

is a venue unlike most in Massachusetts. It has a beautiful outdoor Italian garden set away from the main Codman Estate home. Guests will walk over the sprawling lawn back up to the carriage house for lawn games, music, and dancing. It's a great venue that allows guests to be outside in the spring, summer, and fall. YOU are allowed to put a tent up on the carriage house, or in the field adjacent. The list of Caterers that work at Codman is long, but we are partial to the caterer Tastings out of Framingham.

The Codman Estate Home was built by the Russell Family in 1741. In 1797-1799 John Codman had the mansion expanded. Chambers was original born and rasied in Charlestown Massachusetts. He went on to attend Harvard University and study law. There is a long sorted story you can read about this family and the homes ownership. One interesting fact is that the Town of Lincoln was named after Lincolnshire, England at the request of Chambers Russel, Charles Chambers Grandson. Well the estate is most what people know about the Codman, Chambers, Russell family. They did own 7 acres and had cattle and a working farm. Between 1815 and 1844 the estate as it was known was sold off by Charles Russell Codman so he could live a lavish life. In 1862 the estate was purchased back by the Codman family. Sarah Codman kept amazing records of the plants and flowers put in the Italian Garden. The garden still has some of the original statues and columns put in to have vines climb.

The Italian Garden is still used today as a wonderful shaded location for late afternoon wedding ceremonies and cocktail hours. The light that comes through the trees is perfect for photos!

Lyman Estate. located in Waltham is a great wedding venue for a smaller more intimate feel. With a great outdoor space, and porch for a cocktail hour, the Lyman Estate has 37 acres to work with for beautiful wedding photos. From its crushed rock driveway to have a horse-drawn carriage arrive, to its beautiful gardens there are so many photo opportunities.

Gibbet Hill located out on route 495, west of Acton Massachusetts, it's an old dairy farm that has been converted into a wedding venue and a restaurant. Known as the Gibbet Hill Grill. As you eat you can watch cows grazing in the fields. Not to worry, these are just pasture cows and do not end up on your plate. The farm is 338 acres with 188 acres of orchards. The steakhouse and venue were opened in 2004 and are owned by The Webber siblings. The farm has also opened up 2 acres of land where they plant get vegetables to be used at the Grill and the barn for guests.

Renaissance Boston located in the Seaport District is a wonderful wedding venue. They have wonderful areas for photos right outside, and you're right near the heart of the Seaport district, so you are able to waterfront photos.

The Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel

Block Island located off the coast of Rhode Island is the perfect "destination" location for your wedding. Easy to access from the Block Island Ferry from Point Judith, you're centrally located for New England and New York guests. It's a 12-minute flight from Rhode Island and car rental and cab service are available at the airport. If you have guests coming in who are looking to stay over, there are 34 hotels to pick from. if you need a couple of venue ideas to host a wedding, you can pick from The Atlantic Inn, or Spring House Inn to start. Those are the most popular. Followed by the National Hotel.

Boston Harbor Hotel. Located at the Boston Harbor Hotel, this hotel is the place to have an indoor or outdoor event. With views of million-dollar yachts and the ocean as far as you can see, it's the perfect spot for a wedding. You can walk along the harbor walk to take some breathtaking photos with views of the Boston Skyline.

The Taj Boston. The Taj is now closed is now known as The Newbury. It's located right on Boston Common. We can't wait to see a wedding there!
