She came to me for her son's first year birthday cake smash, and then she came back for family photos. Its ultra flattering when they come back again for headshots or other photography needs. It was pretty easy to snag this headshot, as we were out in Lincoln Massachusetts looking for a great place to shoot photos of her kids. We ended up at the Hartwell Tavern in Lincoln, and I snagged a quick headshot for her site while I was at it. Having an updated photo for a website can really bring in new customers. You don't want the photo to look dated or appear to be from an iPhone. We like to shoot with a long lens and good light. We do basic retouching on these photos to allow for them to be a bit sharper on iPhones and iPads. In this photo she is wearing a black shirt with a white pattern. Her hair is hanging just over her shoulders and is tilting her head away from the light.
