When I was asked to come to this family's home and just capture the kids "running around". I was game! I have a little boy myself that doesn't sit still for much, so I was well-versed in chasing kids for photos. I was all set for the challenge but was pleasantly surprised when the boys sat down and would actually look at me. After the couch shoot, I was able to let the boys play with their toys in their natural setting. Once we let them relax we took them outside for some candid moments and let them play and eat apples. The apples were a huge hit! Letting kids be in their natural environment for photos helps ease anxiety and really helps bring out the best in them.
