Family photo Bird Park Walpole ma

Family photos in Bird Park in Walpole Massachusetts are beautiful. There are so many scenes to pick from for a wonderful backdrop! You have the rustic grass with the tall evergreen trees, the stone bridges, and the frog pond. Adding a dog to the photo only brings the entire photo together.

Bird Park is part of the Trustees of The Reservations in Massachusetts which manage other beautiful parks such as the DeCordova, and over 100 others in the state. Bird Park is roughly 89 acres and was endowed by the parents of Francis William Bird who had died a few years before 1925. You can find Bird Park south Of Boston and take either Route 95 South, Route 1, or 1A to get there. The park has over 8 entrances and the main entrance is located on Route 1A. A lot of people find the Rhodes Avenue Entrance to be a central meeting point at the Union Congregational Church Parking lot. While this parking lot is NOT for Bird Park, it can be used on off days to park your car and walk into the park. The central stone entrance makes a great photo for a family holiday card!

This park has some really amazing trees that can be seen as you walk around.
You will find the Weeping Willow, The Nordic Spruce, the Pine Oak, and the Horse chestnut tree. Fun fact, the Horse Chestnut tree doesn't actually produce chestnuts. It also has a variety of other names; horse-chestnut, buckeye, conker tree, or Spanish chestnut. This tree can grow up to 125 feet tall!

Bird Park is a wonderful location to take fall family portraits.
