What better way to celebrate your love, than with an engagement photo down on the Charles River in the summer? It's one of the most scenic areas to capture people in love. Like most things in Boston, the Charles River is riddled in History as a water way to transport goods for the native Americans.
Located near Boston, The Charles River runs through Boston and Cambridge. From one side you can see the skyline of Boston, while on the other you can enjoy watching the boats and crew teams go by if you stand in front of MIT. You also have the Hatchshell along the walk! The Hatchsell is a popular location in the summer for music and concerts and of course the Fourth of July celebration!
With 80 Miles covered, the Charles River has a ton to see and do! Back in the day, the river was used as a way for different people to transport goods and as a way to get from SouthEast Massachusetts to the north. Now it’s used by local college crew teams and boating marinas for recreation. You can even rent kayaks to take out on the river.
I have found this area to be beautiful and easy to work in as you have various structures and views to see all of Boston.
Location: Charles River, Cambridge, MA.
