Boston Skyline Engagement Photo
A couple stops on the Boston Common for an engagement photo in pea-coats. I don't normally shoot engagement sessions in the winter, but due to the couple's schedule I made an exception. The part that never seems to work in winter engagement sessions is the coats. The guys never seem to have a coat that will work, but Carrie-Ann made sure to get Brendan a jacket that worked. Good thing because it was BITTER Cold this day. It's really hard to shoot a camera with mittens, so I don't. In this photo, we were in the Boston Common shooting back towards the city. The Boston Common on a cold day is a wind tunnel. I am pretty sure that is why the frog pond is there. I tried really hard to get them to go ice skating on the pond for some photos but they refused. They were too afraid they would get hurt. Brendan is a contractor and is working on their house and Carrie-Ann is an athlete who enjoys hiking and running. I guess I can understand not wanting to break an ankle. Plus, I guess neither one can skate very well. Knowing me, I would have fallen on the ice and broken a camera. Then I'd be really sad!Location: Boston, ma.
