Wedding Photos on Boston Common

A group of bridesmaids poses for a photo while on their way to a summer wedding in Boston. The Boston Public Garden is an amazing backdrop for Wedding Photos with Bridesmaids and flower girls. I love all the rich fall colors and the expressions of all the girls. They were so fun to work with! Their flowers were so beautiful and tied into the color of their dresses nicely. Fall weddings provide amazing light especially in the city if you are having an afternoon wedding. The sun hides behind the buildings and Boston Common becomes a shaded paradise ready for the bride and groom to do photos! Sue and Keith had such a hot humid day and they really just rolled with it. It was amazing!

The Boston Public Gardens can be overrun with people, so you want to make sure you know how busy it will be during this time of year. The Gardens get really busy in early spring when the tulips are blooming and in the fall when the leaves are changing. Let's be honest, it's busy most of the time! You do need a permit to photograph in the Boston Public Gardens and on Boston Common. They require it so that you can "reserve" your space. It would be unfair to have the garden overrun with people hosting weddings and wedding photos. They have slotted times and require a fee to have your photos there. Keep in mind the fee is to help maintain the beauty of the gardens for all to enjoy!
