The Taj Wedding Photographers

It's so great being able to say I have been one of the Taj Hotels Wedding Photographers. Sue and Keith were probably one of the highest-end weddings I had shot. Her dress was by Monique Lhuillier and her shoes were Loubition and her flowers were orchids flown in from Hawaii.

The funny thing about her dress is I photographed it twice. On two different brides! One bride saw a photo of the other bride and asked who the dress was made by. I said "I don't know.. I'll ask the bride" and she said "Do you think I could ask her to buy it from her? I LOVE it!" True story. Sue and Keith were married at The Taj in Boston and did all their photos at the Boston Common. The light was amazing. The sun was behind the buildings so it wasn't too bright. They had a very willing bridal party and the couple themselves were up for anything. I love this photo because it shows just how expressive Sue was. She had some amazing facial reactions. Here the groom had said something and she turned to give him a look and then they both laughed. It was a great moment that I am so glad I was able to capture! Sue's wedding was published in The Knot Wedding Magazine. Sue was wearing a designer dress and another bride, Pin, emailed me to ask me who the dress designer was. It turned out to be a Monique Lhuillier. The other bride, Pin, loved the dress so much, that she emailed Sue to ask where she bought it. The craziest thing happened, Sue SOLD the dress to Pin and Pin wore the dress at her wedding. I photographed the SAME dress for two different brides. It was wild. On the day of this shoot, the weather was cool, and Pin was such a skinny little thing. She was a trooper trying to look warm while we took photos. I put them in poses where Vincent could wrap his arms around her, or snuggle. It helped. One thing I loved about Pin was she had the MOST amazing skin! Her skin is absolutely flawless. I normally do a little retouching for all my clients and this lady didn't need an ounce of work. Her skin was like porcelain. This photo is just a great representation of fall in New England and the pretty colors we get. I always strive to get fall photos that look like this, but the weather can be very hit or miss. Some years you can have fall early, some years it can be late, and some years the rain can pull all the leaves off the trees, completely ruining any fall photo sessions we have booked.
