Massachusetts Engagement PhotographerAn engagement photo with a red wall in Boston. Yippee! Holly and Alan met when she broke the window on her dads car and had to get it fixed. The story says that she had seen Allan a few weeks before when her car needed a repair. Then several weeks later her dads mirror suddenly broke. To this day, everyone thinks that Holly broke the mirror to have to go see Alan again. Holly and I went to school together and when she called to tell me she was engaged I was thrilled. She's one of the nicest people you'll ever meet and Alan is just a doll. They wanted to do the shoot some places that gave them a lot of options. We headed down to the North End, strolled the old North church, the cobblestone sidewalks and then over the bridge to the Moakley Courthouse. There, we ended up stopping at the Red Wall of the Barking Crab restaurant. I love the contrast of Alan's white shirt up against the Red wall and the blue of Holly's shirt. The day we did this shoot it was cold and Holly was such a trooper! She was willing to take off her jacket for a quick shoot and then Alan would keep her warm. It can be really cold down on the waterfront depending on the time of year. One of my all time favorite engagement photos. I couldn't have planned this shot any better! Holly's shirt was the perfect color to pull on the wall.
